Electric kettle

The working principle of the electric kettle is that the steam generated when the water boils causes the deformation of the bimetallic sheet of the steam temperature sensing element, which drives the power switch off through the lever principle. The power cut is not self-resetting, so the kettle will not automatically reheat after the power cut.

The electric kettle has the advantages of fast heating speed, good heat preservation effect, strong filtering function and many styles.

Although the function of electric kettle is basically the same, it can be divided into whistle electric kettle, anti-dry whistle electric kettle and plastic electric kettle from the internal circuit structure design.

(1) Whistling electric kettle.

It is made of aluminium sheet by stretching. The electrothermal element is a sealed electrothermal tube made of immersed nickel-plated steel. The electric heat pipe is installed at the bottom of the kettle, and a heat-resistant sealing ring is padded at the joint of the kettle body to prevent leakage. A strip vibrating reed horn (air-flow vibrating whistle device) is installed on the lid of this type of electric kettle. When the water temperature reaches above 100 C, the air-flow whistle will sound. Because there is no temperature limiting controller in this kind of kettle, the power supply must be manually cut off. This kind of electric kettle has the advantages of simple structure and low price, and is widely used in households.

(2) Anti-drying whistle electric water kettle. 

On the basis of the design principle of whistle electric kettle, a temperature-limiting automatic controller (mainly bimetallic thermostat or magnetically controlled thermostat automatic switch) is added. When water boils, the water vapor produced deforms the bimetallic sheet of the thermostat and drives the miniature switch to cut off the power supply, which greatly improves the safety of the electric kettle. Yes. Some high-quality temperature-limiting controllers in electric kettles adopt a new type of thermosensitive material similar to memory alloy (automatic constant temperature control switch). When the water level in the kettle is lower than that of the electric heat pipe (the temperature of the electric heat pipe is over 100 degrees Celsius), the automatic constant temperature control switch will automatically cut off the power supply to protect the electric water kettle from burning.

(3) Plastic electric kettle.

The biggest characteristic of plastic electric kettle is easy to carry and reliable safety performance. The power signal indicator lamp set on the pot body can conveniently observe the electrified state, the upper and lower split structure can rotate 3600, and the melting point of the food-grade hygienic plastic material used in the pot body is above 200 C. This new type electric kettle uses hidden stainless steel electric heating disc and has steam induction control switch. It has multiple protective functions such as automatic power off, anti-dry-burning power off, hot-melt power off protection, grounding protection and so on.
